Field answers
The answers are written for a player deciding what to do next. They keep the exact game name, current release state, faction names and system terms stable so a short answer does not introduce a new vocabulary. For a map or role question, use the structured tables and filters on the relevant page. For a current store or service question, open the official source after reading the local context.
A short answer can still carry a concrete detail. The launch build records 50v50 multiplayer, two named factions, six maps, four launch modes and seventeen current Steam roles. The systems record names command and squads, US helicopter operations, NVA tunnel networks, riverine combat and enhanced movement. Those anchors are enough to route a player without turning every common question into a long article.
When did Hell Let Loose: Vietnam launch?
The current Steam, Epic, PlayStation and Xbox surfaces list 13 August 2026 as the release date for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. The timeline also preserves the earlier franchise announcement, open beta, crossplay playtest and release-planning context so a store date is not treated as the whole history of the product.
How large are the battles?
The official product description presents 50-versus-50 warfare. Teams are organized through command and multiple squads, with the current Steam roster listing seventeen roles across six battlefield units. That scale is why a first match starts with a squad task instead of a solo route.
What makes the two factions asymmetric?
US Forces receive helicopter fire support and supply drops, supported by Pilot and Logistics Officer roles. The NVA can build tunnel networks. Both sides also share riverine combat and enhanced movement surfaces, so the asymmetry sits on top of a shared command-and-squad structure rather than replacing it.
Which battlefields are in the launch roster?
The six named launch maps are Thanh Hóa Bridge, Huế Outskirts, Vạn Tường, Quảng Ngãi, Đắk Tô Airfield and Cam Ranh Port. Their official descriptions cover rivers, runways, monsoon flooding, caves, docks, dunes, villages and jungle, which is why a squad should name the surface before choosing an approach.
Which platforms are represented?
Current store records cover Steam and Epic on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S with a PC surface. The Xbox listing includes Play Anywhere; the PlayStation listing includes PS Plus online play. Use Editions when the question is a store or access question rather than a first-match question.
Does this wiki provide map coordinates or complete weapon stats?
No. The sealed research contains named terrain and tactical descriptions but no spatial coordinate dataset, complete weapon-stat schema, telemetry or formula inputs. The pages therefore use text filters, role fields and route navigation rather than a fake tactical map or invented loadout planner.
What are the current PC requirements?
The minimum record lists Windows 10, an Intel i5-10600K or Ryzen 5 3600X, 16 GB memory, an RTX 2060 Super or RX 6600 XT and 30 GB storage. The recommended record moves to Windows 11 and higher CPU and GPU targets while keeping the same 16 GB memory and 30 GB storage figures.
